A self-initiated challenge to redesign an app for fighting food waste
Too Good To Go: intuitive browsing of offers and faster application of filters
With this challenge I wanted to practice my product thinking and level up my prototyping skills. To do so, I redesigned core flows of Too Good To Go's mobile app. Fun fact: Too Good To Go later, coincidentally, updated their app with the same UX changes as I had made in my challenge – I guess I didn't hit the nail too far off the head.
An algorithm for dynamic generation of colour palettes
Dynamic colour generation: giving users full control of colour customisation
In order to allow clients of the hotelkit platform to reflect their brand identity in the UI, I developed a small program that generates a colour palette of both brand colours and grey colours: the user inputs a hexcode, and the program spits out the colour palette. This project brought with it a lot learnings about the maths of colour, colour behaviour, and colour accessibility.
Together with the frontend engineer we used the logic I developed as a working prototype for what would later be the algorithm used on the platform. Along with the actual colour generation we also conceptualised the structure needed for implementing the colour palette into the design system through colour tokens.
A complete redesign of both the desktop and mobile view
BoligPortal: elegant display of rental property listings
While working at the Danish marketplace BoligPortal, I worked on redesigning the display of rental properties. A big focus was on aligning the visual style between desktop and mobile, so that the brand came across as one cohesive experience. Today this design is used by thousands of people searching for rental properties in Denmark.
A project for Arla's brand Karolines Køkken in collaboration with digital agency Creuna
Arla Click&Cook: meal planning and grocery shopping made easy
As part of my studies I got to work with the digital agency Creuna on a challenge they hosted for Arla and Karolines Køkken. My group developed a checkout flow for the Click&Cook feature, where users can match up multiple recipes and buy the groceries accordingly. I was entirely responsible for the concept video.
During an exchange semester in Norway I worked with video production and project management
Video production in Norway: a tourism campaign
My role in the project was concept development, script writing, and directing. During my time in Norway I also got to work with project breakdowns, project management, and budgetting – anything related to pre-production. The video showed is one out of five from the campaign.
